OPNZPS Manifesto

OPNZPS Manifesto

This is not a list of rules. It is a compass for every child of Partizan.

How to wear the crest, how to win, how to lose and how to remain human—with discipline, fairness and resolve.

Partizan
Family
Serbia
01 / Honour You wear the PARTIZAN crest. Wear it with honour.

The club’s colours are defended through work, conduct and every new day in which you become a better person.

02 / Knowledge Education is never secondary.

A training session can be replaced. Education, character and the habit of learning remain for life.

03 / Fight The game is played until the end.

You have not won before the whistle and you have not lost before the end. Believe in yourself and in miracles.

01
Honour and belonging

You wear the Partizan crest

The crest is not decoration. It is a duty to train, learn, show respect and become better every day.

Wear the Partizan crest with honour and defend the club’s colours by improving every day—as an athlete and as a person.

Be a person, not a number.

Train to be healthy and happy.

Victories and titles will follow when you work, train, think and learn to make good decisions at the right moment.

02
Knowledge and vocation

Live for sport, learn for life

Partizan can be honoured both on and off the field. The greatest victory is when sport shapes a good, educated and useful person.

Very few people make their living solely from sport.

Live for sport, learn skills that will help you in life, and keep learning.

Never neglect school because of sport.

You can make up a training session, but Partizan’s children must never give up on their education.

You can bring honour to Partizan on a pitch, track, in a pool or in an arena.

You can also bring it honour as a scholar, artist, parent, worker, entrepreneur, soldier, engineer, inventor, doctor or in any vocation you choose.

03
Work without shortcuts

Your weaknesses show the way

Discipline is not punishment. It is the way we build ourselves where it is most difficult.

At Partizan, learn discipline and perseverance.

Success is never easy and there are no shortcuts.

Your weaknesses show you the road ahead.

Work hardest on what you find most difficult.

Improve your weaknesses in sport today and in life tomorrow.

04
The club above the individual

You play for Partizan

Talent is not an excuse for vanity. It is an opportunity to leave a mark and make Partizan greater through your contribution.

You play for Partizan; Partizan does not play for you.

If you are talented and have a promising career, do not treat the club merely as a stepping stone to a supposedly bigger one.

Write your name among the club’s legends so that Partizan becomes greater because of you.

Listen carefully to your coaches and speak with them—but remember that you have two ears, two eyes and only one mouth.

Listen and observe twice as much as you speak.

05
Belief until the final whistle

The game is played until the end

In the black-and-white jersey there is no surrender before the end—whether you lead or trail.

The game is played until the end.

Never celebrate too early or surrender before the final whistle or the finish line.

You have not won before that final moment.

Always fight until the end, because you have not lost before the game is over, however little time remains.

Believe in yourself and in miracles.

You wear the Partizan crest.

06
Victory and defeat

Hold your head high after defeat

Victory must not carry you away, and defeat must not break you. Both are lessons.

Remain humble in victory and hold your head high after defeat.

Every experience is a stage in your growth as an athlete and a good person.

Celebrate with dignity and accept defeat with even greater dignity.

Do not seek excuses for a poor result.

Be honest with yourself, overcome defeat and do not repeat the same mistake.

Never underestimate or belittle an opponent.

07
Friend, team and humanity

Your team is a chain

A team is not built on talent alone. It is built by how we treat the weakest link and the person beside us.

Your team is a chain.

A chain is only as strong as its weakest link.

Always help a teammate when they are struggling.

Do not judge people around you by faith, nationality or skin colour.

Judge them by how they respond to the good and evil they encounter.

08
Beyond the field

Never let Partizan leave you

When the game ends, what remains is what you learned: discipline, fairness, defending the vulnerable and pursuing a worthy goal.

When you leave Partizan, never allow Partizan to leave you.

Fight through life as you fought on the field.

Be disciplined and fair, with a worthy goal before you.

You are a child of Partizan.

Never target those weaker than you at school or anywhere else.

Remember that there are at least three kinds of people.

The first are bullies who mistreat those weaker than themselves.

The second are those who are vulnerable and often mistreated; whenever you can, help and protect them.

The third neither mistreat others nor allow themselves to be intimidated; they move forward with purpose.

Be wise. Be one of them.

Be a good and fair friend.

Nothing from Partizan—everything for Partizan.

If you recognise this manifesto as your own, you are part of a black-and-white family that knows the greatest victory is to remain human.
