Farewell to General Dule

With profound respect, we bid farewell to our General, Duško ‘Dule’ Vujošević—a man who defined an era not only in basketball, but also through the values he defended without compromise. To us, he was not merely a coach, but a symbol of knowledge, integrity and unwavering conviction. Across generations of players, colleagues and supporters, he left his mark as a teacher who developed people, not only athletes. His work was about more than results—it was a system, character and a fight for principles, even when that meant taking the more difficult path. At a time when values are often treated as relative, Dule remained steadfast—an artist of basketball and a fighter in spirit. His deeds remain a guide for all who believe sport can be more than a game and society more than self-interest. The principles he championed closely match those of OPNZPS: faith in work, truth, belonging and unconditional love for Partizan. We hope we will know how to follow them with at least a fraction of the strength and consistency with which he lived them, and that we will love Partizan as he taught us—without calculation and until the very end. He sacrificed his health fighting windmills and gave his heart to us. For that, our gratitude is eternal. Coach, teacher, artist and fighter. General, songs have celebrated your life.
