Statements
PARTIZAN MUST RISE. AND WE MUST RISE WITH IT.
If it were easy, it would not be the Grobari way. And it certainly is not pleasant.
Partizan has reached the lowest point in its history. Not because of results, defeats or lost trophies, but because of something lost much deeper — trust, dignity and the values on which our sports society was founded.
But Partizan was not created to give up. Nor do we stand by it only to turn our backs when times are hardest. Recovery will be long and difficult, but it has finally begun. Now is the time to see who can help Partizan get back on its feet, and how.
Our conscience is clear. Since the Association was founded, we have offered Partizan and its management everything we have — 101% of our hearts, our time, knowledge, the funds we have raised and, above all, unconditional love for the black and white colours. Instead of cooperation, we have often encountered closed doors. There have been condemnations, labels, lawsuits, the shutting down of our communication channels and disregard for the proposals we submitted.
But this is not a story about us. Nor do we want it to be. Because everything lost in the previous period was not lost by our Association. It was lost by Partizan. Perhaps we too bear some responsibility. We did not want merely to point out problems. We wanted to be part of the solution.
That is why, over the past two years, we have presented Partizan’s management with concrete projects and initiatives for its recovery and development. None of these proposals involved any personal or financial benefit for members of our Association. On the contrary, we were ready to take responsibility for securing the funds needed to implement them.
Our answer remains the same as on day one — work, concrete proposals and a willingness to give Partizan everything we can.
All our projects for Partizan’s recovery share one goal: a Partizan that is financially independent, organisationally sound and strong in sport, and helps good people become even better.
But our goal today, now that Partizan’s enemies have passed into history, is greater still.
We want a Partizan that develops not only champions, but good people too. A Partizan where children learn hard work, honesty, togetherness and respect. Where every club has the opportunity to develop and every athlete has the conditions to fulfil their potential. Our mission is the OPNZPS Manifesto.
Partizan will once again be worthy of its history, its founders and the generations yet to come.
The projects we proposed in previous years have not been forgotten. We have not abandoned them, and we will not allow them to remain merely good ideas on paper.
Today, we once again put five concrete initiatives for its recovery and future before Partizan and the entire black and white family.
It is time to put them into action.
FIVE PROJECTS. ONE PARTIZAN:
- An examination of finances and money flows at FK Partizan from 2000 to the present;
- An examination of finances and money flows at KK Partizan from 2018 to the present, as well as the potential conflict of interest into which the current president, Ostoja Mijailović, may have entered, putting the club at risk;
- The establishment of the Partizan Cultural Centre and a museum of the sports society;
- The Football Academy — investment funding for the infrastructure and operation of the Partizan Football Academy by supporters and legal entities;
- And finally, the project that matters most at this moment — “A Million Euros from a Million Grobari”.
The first four projects have already been presented to the public and submitted to the competent institutions, and can be found on our website. Their fate so far — sitting in the drawers of “competent institutions” — speaks volumes about the treatment of initiatives that could have contributed to Partizan’s development. But now is not the time to wait and watch passively.
On Monday, 9 November, we are launching “A Million Euros from a Million Grobari”.
The campaign aims to pool our efforts to secure funds for the basic needs and operation of JSD Partizan. We want 2027 to become a historic turning point: the year when Partizan starts building stability that depends on the strength of its own community, responsible management and clear rules, rather than the goodwill of individuals.
We do not want a Partizan that merely survives. We want a Partizan with a future, one that gives our children a future too.
Even today, Partizan has what nobody can take away — its history, its values and the people who sincerely love it. It has our unconditional love and support, and exceptional people who truly devote themselves to it and belong to it. Today, we have an opportunity to turn that love and togetherness into a force that will support the stability of all our clubs. Statutes and operating practices must be brought into line with modern sport and the needs of the 21st century, without abandoning any of the values on which Partizan was founded.
The aim is not to pour water into a leaking pot. The aim is never to have to patch it again.
Partizan does not need another temporary solution, but a fundamental change to the system — from the very beginning.
Let us be worthy of our founders — visionaries, honourable people and champions!
Partizan must become a sports society in which no management, official or individual ever again puts personal interests ahead of the club’s interests. Where work is valued, responsibility is clearly established, and money intended for sport truly serves sport. We must no longer accept a system in which our stadium deteriorates and sporting infrastructure falls apart while questions of accountability, spending and management remain without clear answers for years.
We want a Partizan where employees have dignified living and working conditions, coaches have the conditions to develop champions, and athletes can be confident that their efforts have a future.
We want stands free of crime and violence, where children feel safe and learn what it means to belong to Partizan.
Above all, we want the children who wear our crest today to become not only successful athletes tomorrow, but honourable people who live by the values of our Manifesto.
We will present all our proposals for reform and the long-term development of the sports society to Partizan’s future management. We are ready for open, honest and responsible cooperation with everyone who puts Partizan’s interests ahead of personal interests.
But Partizan’s recovery must not depend on who holds which position. That is why we will not wait.
We invite all Partizan clubs, members, supporters and friends to join “A Million Euros from a Million Grobari”, and call on the current and future management to support an initiative that belongs to everyone who puts Partizan first.
We inherited Partizan from people who built it in the belief that it would outlast each of them.
It is our responsibility to preserve it, rebuild it and leave it better for those who come after us.
Not for management. Not for positions. Not for personal gain.
For Partizan.
For every child who puts on a black and white shirt for the first time. For every athlete who wears our crest. For all those who made history before us and those who are yet to make it.
We are not here to get something from Partizan. We are here to leave something to it.
Our position has remained unchanged since day one:
“Nothing from Partizan, everything for Partizan!”
